GoodDinero.com is a family finance and budgeting money blog that was created to build a community of people who are looking to build the life of their dreams while escaping the rat race lifestyle.
When we write on our website, we help break down personal finance into easy-to-follow concepts and principles. We teach the money lessons we wished they had taught us in school. Best of all: we have actually done them ourselves, so we know what it takes to get there.
Our purpose here at GoodDinero.com is to guide families and couples to achieve financial independence.
GoodDinero.com was established in 2022 to share the wins, but most of all the mistakes we’ve made along the way in our finance journey. We thrive in helping couples like us to live the life of their dreams, using our simple principles and ideas.
In 2016 we decided living in debt and following life like everyone else and waiting for retirement at age 65 was not what we wanted. We had just bought a house, a car, and had credit card debt. Our plan was to establish a debt-free lifestyle early in our marriage.
In 2016, we decided it was time to make a change and ditch the typical career path. We focused on our goals and what was needed to get there. Save and make money and what we needed to do to get there. Side hustles and tons of discipline.
In three years we were able to accomplish some things like this:
- Paid off our $125,000 mortgage.
- Paid off our $25,000 vehicle financing.
- Paid off over $20,000 in credit card debt.
- Both left our traditional jobs in 2020 to focus on our financial freedom.
- Grew our online business.
